PLANNING & ZONING

The Calabash Planning & Zoning Board (PZB) is an advisory Board that makes recommendations to the Board of Commissioners regarding re-zoning requests, zoning ordinances, amendments and subdivisions. Regular Meetings of the Planning and Zoning Board are scheduled on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm at Town.

The next regular PZB meeting is scheduled on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 7pm.  PZB AGENDA 3-4-2 024

  The Board of Commissioners makes appointments to the Planning & Zoning Board (PZB).

The Calabash Board of Adjustment is the body established to hear appeals of decisions rendered by zoning administrators, interpret unclear provisions in the zoning ordinance, decide on applications by landowners to permit buildings or land uses which vary from the zoning regulations.
