NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the proposed Budget Ordinance for the Town of Calabash Fiscal Year 2019-2020, pursuant to the provisions of the N.C General Statute 159-12, has been presented to the Board of Commissioners and is on file in the clerk’s office available for inspection at the Calabash Town Hall between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.   A copy of the proposed budget is also available to be viewed on the Town website at www.townofcalabash.net.  The proposed Ad Valorem Tax Rate is $0.0875 per $100 of valuation.  The public shall take notice that there will be a Public Hearing on the proposed Budget Ordinance on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, 7:00 PM in Sanborn Hall located at 882 Persimmon Road, Calabash, NC.  The public is encouraged to attend.  For more information please contact the Town Administrator or Town Clerk at (910) 579-6747.

  EVIDENTIARY HEARING FOR CONDITIONAL USE

NOTICE OF EVIDENTIARY HEARING AND SPECIAL
  BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING
 
FOR
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION 
 

Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting has been called by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Calabash, pursuant to G.S 160A-71, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 6:00 PM in Sanborn Hall, located at Town Hall, 882 Persimmon Road, Calabash, NC.  

The purpose of the Special Meeting is to allow the Board of Commissioners to hold quasi-judicial proceedings for the following:

1)    To conduct an Evidentiary Hearing regarding the Application for Conditional Use Permit     

2)    To discuss, deliberate and take action on the Conditional Use Permit Application submitted by applicant Michael McLam for the conditional use to allow construction  of a duplex (two dwelling unit) at 1015 Durham Avenue, Parcel #241OF013 in the Calabash Acres Subdivision, which is in R-6 Zoning District. 

A site plan for the proposed duplex is available to be viewed in Town Hall during business hours Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  If you have any questions regarding this notice of public hearing please contact Chuck Nance, Town Administrator (910) 579-6747.
